Movie Review
Based on Ktar Isaka's novel, Bullet Train is an action comedy. Brad Pitt plays Ladybug in Bullet Train, an unfortunate assassin who is determined to carry out his mission without violence after a string of jobs gone wrong. The briefcase has to be collected by Ladybug on the train from Tokyo to Morioka.
But when he learns that he must outwit four other expert assassins, the task becomes progressively more challenging. As the gang becomes aware of the connections between their objectives, tensions increase.
It is not a new concept where protagonist is trying to prove himself. It is a common story now a days that hero first fails many time. But when things go to extreme and everything depends upon hero, he show his abilities. First he is a loser but when time comes everything depends upon him.
There are many movies in Hollywood which are similar to this movie. But what make them different is their cast. For example if you have recruited Jackie Chan, you will definitely get comedy.
Importance of Comedy
Comedy is a special part of these kinds of script. Because if there isn't comedy in it then it will be just a depressed story. Just imagine a story in which hero is continuously failing. It will be very depressing and would be a burden to bear. On the other hand hero is failing and his failure is portrayed as comedy then it would be fun to see.
Another benefit of comedy is that it divert audience interest from failure to lesson of story.
So GO FOR IT.
