Review
I’ve waited months for Thor: Love and and Thunder and what did I get? Disappointment. Thor is one the biggest blockbuster movie series of marvel studios. First this series was full of diversity, good story. It was a nice experiment to combine myth with modern touch. Another advantage for this Marvel movie series was its affiliation with Stan lee. I wasn’t able to understand at time of Stan lee’s death that why was Marvel Production sad. But now seeing Marvel movie Thor: Love and and Thunder after Stan lee death, I finally understood.
Story
Starting with flashback of Thor’s love story from first movie. Scenes when Thor was sent to earth and his encounter with Jane. How he fell in love with that earthling and the change in his life because of power of love. Also about their breakup.
Thor is now is on space journey to find inner peace with our “Guardians of galaxy”. On other hand our villain is suffering on his home planet because of the deity of that planet. He lost his daughter and gets to know that the deity to whom he worshiped don’t deserved to be a deity. On the brink of death a legendary sword appeared in his hand. With that sword he killed his planet’s deity and thus become a Deity killer. But one drawback of that sword was that it destroys its weilder. The promised himself to kill all deities of universe.
Our heroine on other hand was suffering from cancer. She tried a method to cure herself by holding Thor hammer. And it worked. And thus she joined Azguard Elite Force. But unfortunately hammer was not able to change her fate.
Thor gets news from his friend about deity killer and about his next planet which was Earth. Thus Thor came back, encounters him and barely managed to remain still alive. But all the kids of Azguard were kidnapped. Thus Thor began his journey with friends. On his way he also tried to ask other deities help but all went in vain. Thor stabbed Zeus with his own weapon and thus steals it.
He finds out that Deity killer was after ETERNITY. The most powerful being of universe residing at the centre of universe. And anyone who will approach him first will get his one wish granted.
In end Thor was able to save universe and deities from extinction. Deity hunter finally meets his end and about his wish, he wished for his daughter to resurrect. And Jane unfortunately dies. But Thor gets a new reason for life which was Deity hunter’s daughter. Thor granted the wish of deity hunter which was to raise his daughter and Thor fulfilled it.
Critics
- In climax kids are fighting creatures of dark. This is just a hilarious scene. Laser beams coming from mouth of doll and destroying everything. Now this is showing lack of ambition in movie.
- Our hero Thor is good lord and everyone else is bad. This is a hilarious approach like is this even logical? Every other lord is either easily killed or is slacking.
- Director’s personal influence can be seen in movie as after seeing movie you’ll definitely start to hate these creatures of myths.
Conclusion
For conventional fans Thor: Love and and Thunder movie can still be of some entertainment. But we still miss Stan lee. Marvel sure has lost its touch as its movies are not able to satisfy its fans. If this keeps up marvel is going to lose its fans. But still its manageable now. So if you are seeking some fun then GO FOR IT.
