With movies like The Flash, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, and others, the DC film world is getting ready to release its next wave. The most popular movie genre is superhero movies, and because there are always a variety of superhero movies under development, it can be challenging to keep everything straight. While we have a complete list of all future superhero movies set in the DC cinematic world, DC's plans, unlike Marvel's, do not call for cross-media synergy.

While many of the characters in their films share similarities with those in the CW TV universe, which also includes The Flash and Superman & Lois, or in the DC Universe streaming series Titans and Doom Patrol, they often don't. With Man of Steel, Warner Bros. formally launched the DC Extended Universe. Warner Bros. and DC Films have assembled an ambitious slate of films that are now in production after some rearranging and adjusting.

1- Black Adam
Release Date: October 21, 2022
Cast: Dwayne Johnson, Noah Centineo, Aldis Hodge, Sarah Shahi, Quintessa Swindell, and Pierce Brosnan.
In "Black Adam," Dwayne Johnson makes his eagerly anticipated superhero film debut, working once again with "Jungle Cruise" director Jaume Collet-Serra. This project has been in development for a while. But now that Warner Bros. has hired Due Date screenwriter Adam Sztykiel to write the script.
Jaume Collet-Serra, with whom Johnson collaborated on the Disney blockbuster Jungle Cruise, was chosen as the film's final director. Black Adam, who has been imprisoned for 5,000 years, and Shazamtitular!'s figure share a power source, paving the way for future crossovers.
2- Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom
Release Date: March 17, 2023
Cast: Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Pilou Asbaek
The original Aquaman earned more than a billion dollars worldwide, making it Warner Bros.' highest-grossing DC movie ever. For the "Aquaman" sequel, Jason Momoa and director James Wan are back, and Momoa received a "story by" credit for helping to shape the film's direction. Jason Momoa provided the plot concept, and David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, Aquaman's co-writer.
The official title of the follow-up is Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. On July 19, 2021, production commenced. Randall Park, Pilou Asbaek, and Indya Moore are among the new actors joining the core cast for the sequel. The last day of shooting was January 12, 2022.
3- The Flash
Release Date: June 23, 2023
Cast: Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, Kiersey Clemons, Michael Shannon, Sasha Calle, Maribel Verdú, and Ron Livingston
Seth Grahame-Smith, Rick Famuyiwa, Phil Lord, and Chris Miller are just a handful of the filmmakers and writers that have worked on The Flash over the past several years. More recently, the filmmakers John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who wrote the Spider-Man: Homecoming script, were a part of the project, but they too quit.
Finally, in April 2021, production on this supposedly cursed project began. Michael Keaton will reprise his role as Batman from Tim Burton's movie in the film, while Ben Affleck will also play the role. The film will bring the multiverse to DC movies.
Sasha Calle plays Supergirl in the movie, and Billy Crudup's replacement for Henry Allen, Barry's father, who left the project due to schedule issues, is Ron Livingston. Cyborg was supposedly written out of the movie. But there was once talk that he would make an appearance in some way.
Despite the fact that the last day of filming was October 18, 2021, this movie still had production issues.
4- Blue Beetle
Release Date: August 18, 2023
Cast: Xolo Maridueña, George Lopez, Raoul Max Trujillo, Susan Sarandon, Bruna Marquezine, Harvey Guillén, Belissa Esobedo
Blue Beetle, which will centre on Mexican-American youngster Jaime Reyes, the third persona to take on the moniker Blue Beetle, will be directed by Charm City Kings' Angel Manuel Soto. The script for the Blue Beetle adaption, which will be the first Latino superhero film produced by DC, was written by Gareth Dunnet-Alocer.
5- Shazam! Fury of the Gods
Release Date: December 21, 2022
Cast: Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Djimon Hounsou, Rachel Zegler, Adam Brody, Faithe Herman, Helen Mirren, and Lucy Liu
Zachary Levi and Asher Angel return in the "Shazam!" sequel as Shazam and Billy Baston, respectively, under the direction of David F. Sandberg. Henry Gayden, who wrote the screenplay for Shazam!. Producer Peter Safran and director David F. Sandberg both are anticipated to return.
Filming started on May 26 of 2021 and ended on August 31 following many delays brought on by the COVID-19 epidemic. In the movie, Kalypso and Hespera, played by Lucy Liu and Helen Mirren, respectively, will portray antagonists. The new release date for the Shazam! sequel is December 21, 2022.
DC has ongoing ambitions for both movies and television. In March 2021, Zack Snyder's Justice League had its R-rated television debut on HBO Max. DC is also working on animation movies. Lets hope for best!
